Helen came into our rescue program on February 27, 2010. Helen came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division with 4 other horses. Helen is emaciated, infested with parasites, covered in rain rott and was in need of some major dental work. Helen is estimated to be 20 years of age. She is a beautiful Sorrel Mare. She is blind in one eye, but it does not affect her at all. She is super sweet, very laid back and doesn't spook when approached on her blind side. Once this sweetheart is fully rehabilitated, she will make someone a wonderful horse. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Helen's rehabilitation.

Update 6/20/2010 Helen is seeking her forever, loving home. Helen is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Helen has come a longs ways and looks great. She is blind in one eye, but it does not affect her at all. She isn't a spooky horse or skiddish. Helen is broke to ride and very spunky for her age. You would never know that she was 20 years old, she still acts like a teen. She will make someone a wonderful horse, whether for the trails or a playday horse. She still has a lot of years to give to someone that loves her. Helen has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Helen has been adopted to a wonderful family in McLoud, Oklahoma. Helen is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. She is joining Higgins and Journey in their forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that these special horses have found their forever, loving family where they will receive the time and attention that they deserve.
