Johnny, May 2009
Johnny, May 2009<"Johnny,

Johnny came into our rescue program on December 26, 2008. Johnny came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Johnny is a under weight, infested with parasites and has an eye infection. He is a sweet Chestnut, Thoroughbred, Gelding, estimated to be 6 years of age. Johnny has a tattoo, so we believe that he is a former race horse. Johnny loves attention, very laid back, loads in a trailer like a pro. We are doctoring his eye 5 times a day and he is being such a good boy through it all. He has a great disposition. He is super sweet and will make someone an excellent horse once he has rehabilitated. Johnny has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and teeth floating. He should start putting on the required weight soon. Please consider making a donation towards Johnny's rehabilitation. We will update soon with his adoption status.

Update 5-5-09 Johnny is looking wonderful, his eye problem is fixed and he is ready for a loving, forever home to call his own. This boy is beautiful, stout and will make someone an excellent horse. Johnny has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you would like to add Johnny to your family, please submit an application.

Update 6-26-09 -- Johnny is broke to ride and he was evulated under saddle by a professional trainer. Johnny will make someone an excellent horse. He was a bit rusty at first, but everything started coming back to him and he settled into the ride wonderfully. He may need a few rides before hitting the trails, but Johnny would make an excellent horse whether for pleasure or performance. If interested in giving this sweet boy and loving, forever home, please submit an application.

Update Jan 2010 Johnny's was previously adopted, but is now back up for adoption and ready for his forever, loving home. Johnny has been through several trail rides and he has about 15 hours of trail riding put on him in the last couple of weeks. He is a wonderful horse and will make someone such a great horse whether for trail or performance. Please consider giving this sweet, sweet boy the wonderful forever, loving home that he deserves.

Johnny has been adopted to a wonderful family in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Johnny has finally found his forever, loving home. This family has been eagerly awaiting for the day that they could adopt Johnny. We are thrilled that he has found his family.
