Keera   Keera   Keera's lame foot

Keera came into our rescue program on July 8, 2006. Keera is a sweet little sorrel mare. She has a lame back foot, where her hoof has curled under at the toe. We do not know if this is repairable, but will have it looked at and see what we can do for her. She appears to be around 6 years of age. She is a bit underweight, but she was also still nursing a yearling colt. Keera is a sweet girl and we will do everything possible to get her back in shape.

Update 8/1/2006 -- Keera has been examined by our Veterinarian and our Farrier. Both don't believe that Keera's foot can be repaired. Keera is a sweet girl, she will let anyone rub all over her. She needs a loving forever home to call her very own. She would make an excellent companion horse or possibly a good learning horse for a small child. She has good ground manners and she is just a sweetheart. Keera has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, such as West Nile, Eastern/Western, Tetanus, Rhino, and Influenza, up to date on feet trimming and deworming. Please consider giving this special girl an wonderful new home.

Keera's adoption fee has been waived. She is a sweet horse, would make an excellent companion horse or just a pet. Up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and has a current negative coggins. She just needs a place to call her own. She is the fastest three legged horse around. She will run full speed all over the pasture. She is a sweet girl!

Keera has been adopted to a wonderful Family in Perry, Oklahoma. Keera joins two of our former rescue's Skipper and Smokey. She will be extremely well loved and cared for. We are thrilled to see Keera go to a great home and be a family pet.
