Kira came into our rescue program on July 31, 2007, along with 43 other horses that were severely neglected and starved from the Forest Park & Spencer, Oklahoma area. We were called by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Forest Park Police Department and Spencer Police Department to assist in the seizure of the 44 horses. Kira is a beautiful, Chestnut, Arabian, Mare. Upon arrival Kira was underweight and covered in Rain Rott. Despite her condition, she was able to experience love and trust again.

Kira was adopted to a wonderful family in Jones, Oklahoma. Kira immediately picked her new family and they made an instant bond. Kira is spoiled rotten and receiving the ultimate love and attention that she so deserves. We are so thankful that these two found each other.
