Mazie came into our rescue program on December 20, 2008. Mazie is a beautiful, 18 year old, Gray Mare. She loves attention, easy to handle, and loads great. She is a sweet girl and would make someone an excellent horse. We will evaluate her riding abilities once the weather improves a bit. We do know that the former owner lead her grandkids around on her bareback with no problems. Mazie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, de-worming and hoof maintenance.

Update 1-9-09 -- We have determined Mazie's Ride-ability and have decided that she would be best for light riding by a child. She has an old injury to her front hoof, that doesn't cause her problems, but it appears that the other leg endured most of the weight during that injury and she shows signs of mild lameness. She is a super sweet girl and needs a loving, forever home to call her own. She would be a great companion animal or a horse for a small child that would just like to take occasional rides around the yard.

Mazie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Newalla, Oklahoma. Mazie was adopted along with Paisley and are both getting that much needed love and attention that they deserve. They have found that loving, forever home that they both deserve.
