Patches, Summer 2008Patches, Summer 2008

Patches came into our rescue program on April 25, 2008. Patches came from Seminole County along with 5 other horses. Patches is a beautiful, Paint Mare. She is extremely emaciated and infested with Parasites. Patches currently weighs 614 pounds, at least 300 + pounds under weight. She is a sweet girl. We will update as she progresses, as well as, when she becomes available for adoption. Please consider making a donation towards Patches Rehabilitation.

Patches Update 7-7-08 -- Patches is another sweet baby that I can not say enough about. Patches is a beautiful girl, super sweet! Patches is rehabilitating nicely. She now weighs in at 778 pounds. Patches had a rotten tooth that was severely infected when she arrived. The tooth was so painful that Patches stood very quietly, lightly sedated and patiently waiting while our veterinarian pull that tooth. She was so sweet and you could clearly see the sigh of relief once that tooth was removed. She had about 2 long weeks of healing, but she did wonderfully. Patches is such a sweetheart. She loves attention and wants to be your companion. She is such a good girl and so loving. Truly a wonderful horse! Patches will make a wonderful horse for someone. Patches has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, and teeth floated. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please submit an adoption application today.

Patches has been adopted to a wonderful family in Arcadia, Oklahoma. Patches is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten at her new home. We are so thrilled that Patches has found her perfect family. She is going to be so happy at her loving, forever home.
