Pistol  Pistol's knee

Pistol came into our rescue program January 23, 2005, with Missy. Pistol has quite an impressive background. Pistol started out his life and career as a pony horse for the race track. After that he became an exercise horse and that didn't work out so well, they used Pistol to exercise 10 horses in one day and blew out his front knee. He shows no signs of lameness or pain. He gets around very well. After he blew out his knee he became a therapy horse for handicapped children. He is extremely sweet and loves attention. Pistol has accomplished much in his life and now deserves to have that special loving forever home. Pistol is 18 years of age, he is a thoroughbred, stands about 16 hands tall. He moves about as a normal horse and doesn't mind telling the other younger boys that he is older and wiser. If interested in adopting Pistol, please contact Natalee.

Pistol has been adopted to a wonderful family in Newcastle, Oklahoma. He has been adopted with Lady and Missy, where they will be going to some great kids and lots of land to run and enjoy themselves on. It is so wonderful when these guys get adopted with their companion horses.
