Rusty, Sept 2007

Rusty came into our rescue program on July 23, 2007. Rusty came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 3 other horses, all of which were nearly starved to death. Rusty is a sweet, Appaloosa, Gelding. He is estimated to be 12 years of age. Rusty is blind in his Right eye due to a blunt force injury near his eye. Although Rusty is blind in that eye, he is a sweetheart and loves attention. Rusty loves his breakfast and dinner even more though. Please consider making a donation towards Rusty's Rehabilitation. Rusty will be available for adoption once he has rehabilitated. If you are interested in adopting Rusty, please submit an application. We will update with additional information as he progresses.

Update 10/01/07: Rusty is doing great and gaining a lot of weight. He is a sweet boy, extremely well mannered and is seeking his forever, loving home. Rusty is partially blind in one eye, but it does not bother him at all. He is a sweet boy, loves attention and will make someone an excellent horse. Rusty has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an application as soon as possible.

Rusty has been adopted to a wonderful family in McLoud, Oklahoma. Rusty is going to have the life of Riley and not know what to do with it. Rusty has found a loving, forever home to call his own. He is enjoying the grazing and his new companion.
