Slash   Slash's Hernia   Slash   Slash

Slash came into our rescue program on July 1, 2006. Slash is an 1 1/2 year old, sorrel, colt. He has a very large hernia that will need to be immediately removed. He is blind out of his left eye. This poor little boy has been through a lot in his short life. He is underweight and very malnourished. He was fortunate enough to have some angels looking over him in order to get somewhere that he can have a better future. We will get Slash into the vet's as soon as possible and start him on the road of rehabilitation. He is a sweet boy and once he is healed and fattened up, he will make someone an excellent horse.

Update 8/1/2006: Slash had his hernia removed on July 8, 2006. He was also Gelded at that time. He has done great and gaining weight and looking really good. He is such a sweet boy and deserves the best home. Slash would make an excellent addition to anyone's family. He is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and has a current negative coggins.

Slash was adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Slash is now enjoying the sweet life, where he has lots of pasture to graze and a little filly to be his companion. He is going to be very spoiled and well loved.
